My High School Student ID 我的高中學生證
This is my high school student ID card. The card says I was 16 years old then. The jacket I wore was my father’s workwear. The material was very much like today’s jean, and was very tough. I somehow liked to look like someone who belonged to the “working class”. I guess it was because it was very important to belong to the “right” class of the society in those days. Intellectuals were not trusted by the Communist Party，and could be regarded as dangerous.
曬曬高中學生證。俺16歲的時候。身上的外衣是那個年代的工作服（我父親的），很老土，但很結實耐用，有點像現在的牛仔服。也許，在潛意識中，我想看起來能像一個「勞動人民」。知識分子在那個年代還可能被當作是危險人物。
